| Galashiels Golf Course |
|

Situated on Ladhope Hill overlooking Galashiels, there are understandably a number of steeper ascents on this course. However, once you are at the top you will discover it was well worth the climb. The views over the surrounding Borders countryside and Galashiels itself are beautiful. The course is 18 holes and although not long the layout of raised greens, drystone dykes and hilly terrain make the course challenging and enjoyable.
Galashiels itself developed rapidly through the textile industry and still offers insight into its weaving with the Lochcarron of Scotland Cashmere and Wool Centre where tours are held to learn more about the weaving process.
Just to the East of Galashiels is Abbotsford House, Sir Walter Scott's mansion on the banks of the Tweed, well worth a visit.
Galashiels and Ladhope are within easy reach of New Woll Estate and the Woll Golf Course and are well worth visiting during your stay with us. Just up the A7 a pleasant Drive takes you through Selkirk and up into Gala town centre.
